Honesty

Kate: "Mom, you look pretty with make-up."
Me (not wearing any make-up): "Thanks."
Kate: "I don't want to say you look scary without make-up because that would be mean."
Me: "But I do?"
Kate: "Yeah."

What could I say? I guess she's being honest. I think I'll go put some make-up on now. :)
