Eggplanted

Yesterday we were enjoying a nice bbq at my sister-in-law's. Katesie was riding a scooter on their basketball court when all of a sudden we hear a clank and a scream. She is yelling "I'm okay! I'm okay!" as she half walks/runs over to me holding her bloody nose. After I get something besides my clothes for the blood she proceeds to tell me what happened. She said (through low sobs) "I was riding on the scooter (sob) and then I hit a bump (sob) and I eggplanted!" Me: "You what?" Kate: "I eggplanted!" Yes, she "eggplanted." It took me a second to realize she meant face-planted. She is such a cutie!
