Mikey Meets Mantis

Sunday night we were sending off the home teachers at the front porch and found 4 praying mantises on the porch. Calvin is fearless and immediately starts picking them up and putting them on himself. They were climbing all over him (even on his head, hair, ears, etc.) I think Calvin's favorite part was when he went over to the neighbors with 4 praying mantises on him and a big group of neighborhood girls screamed. He would slowly walk towards towards them with the bugs and they would run away screaming in terror. It was quite entertaining.


Before that Mikey got a chance to meet the bugs. I'll let the progression of pictures tell the story. Did I go too far snapping the last picture before getting the bug off? Probably.
