Summer Fun
I love summer. Let me say that again: I LOVE SUMMER! Winter
and Spring? Take it or leave it. Except skiing. I love skiing. Fall? Fall is my
second favorite season. But summer, I could have summer all year long!
We’ve had a great summer. Here are a few miscellaneous
things we’ve loved this summer…
1 – finishing the loft in the cabin and sleeping out in the
cabin.
2 – Mom reading “Treasure Island” out loud to the kids at
bedtime.
3 – Bailey soccer camp in our backyard
4 – moving mulch (only the part where the kids get to earn
$)
5 – swimming in the new pool!!!
6 – finding new, faster ways to go down the slide.
7 – selling Cal’s Frozen Lemonade during the Parade of Homes
8 – piano lessons with Ivy Vance
9 – summer learning essays (maybe it’s just Mom that loves
this).
10 – summer crafts
11 – playing with friends
12 – floating the canal
13 – having Elena stay at the house with the kids while
Kira, Jeff and I were at Pioneer Trek
14 – eating dinner outside on the back deck
15 – playing guitar on the roof and being on the roof in general.
